The Saint Andrew's Annual Meeting is held each year in
January following the Pot - Luck Luncheon after the 10:30 am Sunday Service.
The Annual Meeting is held to elect Vestry Members, pass the
annual budget and discuss other important business of Saint Andrew's.

and Renewal

The Ministry of Evangelism sponsors
The Saint Valentine Potluck Luncheon
We invite everyone to bring a
red-colored or heart-shaped dish to share.
The Ministry of Evangelism also asks for volunteers to help decorate the
Parish Hall for the
potluck on Sunday. We begin decorating at 7:00
pm on Saturday evening. Cookies and punch will be
provided.

The Senior High EYC Conference is held each year hosted by an Episcopal Church
in Oklahoma.
The
conference is for all youth in grades 9 - 12. Please see any of the youth
leaders for further information.

New Beginnings*
April

New Beginnings is a retreat weekend for junior high youth. It is somewhat
like Happenings and Cursillo, primarily led by junior and senior high youth and
focuses on relationships young teenagers have with their friends, family, self,
and God.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper*

Saint Andrew's Shrove Tuesday
"All You Can Eat" Pancake Supper
is held each year in the Parish Hall on Shrove Tuesday.
Join us for this year's Shrove Tuesday for our traditional
"All You Can
Eat" Pancake Supper hosted by the youth of the church. The feast will be
held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm with the cost of $2.50 for
adults (ages 12 and above) and $1.75 for youth (under the age of 12).

Soup 'n Salad Suppers*
Wednesday Evenings
During Lent

Every year during Lent, Saint Andrew's sponsors the Lenten Soup 'n Salad
Suppers.
The suppers begin at 5:30 pm and the programs concludes at 7:00 pm.
A donation of $2.00 for the meal is appreciated. The final Wednesday
in Lent will be the Seder Meal.
Come join us during Lent for a wonderful mix of Soup,
Salads and Programs.

Stations of the Cross
Fridays
During Lent
During the Middle Ages, the practice of going on a
pilgrimage to Jerusalem and following the path of Jesus' journey to the
cross became a very popular Lenten devotion.
Join us every Friday during Lent for Stations of the
Cross, a service in which the stations are visited in turn with a pause
for a reading, a versicle and response, and a collect. This service
begins at 12:10 and lasts about 30 minutes.

The Treasurer's Workshop is held on Friday evening, continue on Saturday
morning and then join the Vestry Academy.

The Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma sponsors the Vestry Academy at Saint Crispin's
every Spring.
All Vestry members are encouraged to attend this one day seminar. It is a great opportunity to learn more
about your responsibilities, obtain resource information and meet other vestry
members from across the state.

recognition and supplemental training for the Acolytes and Acolyte Masters
throughout Oklahoma.

Every May, Saint Andrew's honors their High School
Graduates during Youth Sunday at the 10:30 Service.
We have a
wonderful Pot-Luck Breakfast with the Graduating Seniors sitting at the head
Table.

They usually take a sabbatical during the

Every October, the annual
Saint Francis Day
Celebration occurs in Saint
Andrew's Courtyard on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. We bless our
animals in honor of the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. Saint
Francis of Assisi is remembered for his faith and his love for God's
creation.
Everyone is welcome to join us and to bring their pet(s)
for their annual blessing.
If you missed us this year, we look forward to seeing you
next year on this joyous date.

Every Halloween Season, Saint Andrew's sponsors a Halloween Party for
the children, adults and friends of Saint Andrew's members.
The Halloween Party is always a big success. Many
adults and children alike come dressed up in costume and participate in the
many games and festival.
Many prizes are won by all in the Halloween cake walks and games.
Saint Andrew's wants to Thank everyone who come and participate, help
with decorating and assist with the games. We especially want to
Thank all of the wonderful cooks who make the delicious treats for the cake
walks.

Canterbury's Thanksgiving Dinner
The Sunday before Thanksgiving
in
November
6:00 pm in the
Parish Hall
The OSU Canterbury Students and York Fellowship hosts their
annual Thanksgiving Dinner with all the "fixings" for the members of
Saint Andrew's Church.
Invitations are also extended to everyone who would like to
share in the fellowship with the students.
The Dinner is usually held the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church holds an Arts & Craft Show
every December.
The Christmas Festival is always the
first Saturday in December.
The Festivals began in 1975 to provide local artisans and craft
people a place to sell their creations. The Festivals have become very popular
to all involved. If you have not been to one, make plans to visit the next
Saint Andrew's Christmas Festival.

The Angelic Affair is the Christmas Dinner held every other
year for the women of Saint Andrew's.
Reservations must be made by December 01. Tickets are
$11.00 each.

Bishop's Annual Visitation
Sunday in December
The Bishop makes his annual visit to Saint Andrew's in December.
The Bishop presides over the 10:30 am service of Confirmation.
There is a reception for him and those confirmed after 10:30 service in
the Parish Hall.
