Rosary Prayer for time of fear and anxiety.

The Cross: In the name of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Invitatory Bead: This is another day O Lord. I know not what it will bring forth, but make me ready Lord, for whatever it may be. If I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely. If I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly. If I am to lie low, help me to do it patiently. And if I am to do nothing, let me do it gallantly. Make these words more than words, and give me the spirit of Jesus. Amen. (BCP, p.461)

1st Cruciform Bead: It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

Week Beads: I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. (Psalm 34:4)

2nd Cruciform Bead: Many are saying, "Oh, that we might see better times!" Lift up the light of your countenance upon us, O LORD. (Psalm 4:6)

Week Beads: When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. (Psalm 56:3)

3rd Cruciform Bead: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

Week Beads: Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

4th Cruciform Bead: For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13)

Week Beads: In God, whose words I praise--in God I trust and am not afraid. (Psalm 56:4)

Final Invitatory Bead: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

The Cross: Grant us, Lord, not to be anxious about earthly things, but to love things heavenly; and even now, while we are placed among things that are passing away, to hold fast to those that shall endure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen. (Proper 20)
